August 20-22, 2010

The river welcomed us on Friday with some good ski runs. Saturday was a different story, almost a repeat of the last trip— strong winds at 6 AM. We went out anyway and found glass above the first bend in the river. By 9 AM it was all wind everywhere. So what do you do when it's 100+°F? You get out the water toys and float in the 70°F river water. By the way, Sunday was excellent until about 11 AM when we broke for garbage omelets. Thank you Gene.
