We had a near perfect close to the season. Weather was awesome, sunsets and sunrises were spectacular, the river was not crowded (except for our boats), and the people jelled. It just keeps getting better. Eight of us showed up early on Friday and got a couple of quality ski and board runs in before enjoying a salmon dinner.
On Saturday we were treated to glass all day. Gene did his normal magic with happy hour and topped it off with deep fried Cajun turkey with all the trimmings including an apple peach pie from Julian with vanilla ice cream.
On Sunday we all got a glass run before the wind began to howl. Plan B was Gene's fabulous garbage omelets with pancakes. Troy took his crew to the gorge as the rest of us headed out a bit earlier than normal.
